Journalist | Facilitator

I am a storyteller, educator, advocate and hard-conversation haver. I believe a way to create change in society is through education. It is my goal as a journalist to educate the people on issues, identities and communities they may not know about or that need to be heard.

For four years I worked as a leader in an anti-violence organization on the Texas State University campus. Through this organization I have presented to students, athletes, greek life, and more. I would have educational conversations about various forms of violence. This knowledge and skill set to educate with objective information transfers to my journalism.
